A place for non-work-related flimflam, faffing, hodge-podge or jibber-jabber you’d prefer to keep out of more focused work-related channels.

Welcome back everyone! 🌟

FinOps was a big topic last year, with 31% of organisations focusing on adoption—but is it really a priority for most? I’ve shared some thoughts on how FinOps priorities might evolve this year and what it takes to address challenges like waste reduction, spending optimisation, and forecasting.

Check it out here: https://aws.plainenglish.io/how-to-build-a-finops-culture-15943e18006e

Would love to hear your thoughts—how is your team approaching FinOps this year?

Is anyone else using Skate by Charmbracelet? It's a nice personal key-value storage to keep API keys off of the command line(https://github.com/charmbracelet/skate)

Anyone know how to trigger a slack message if the due date on an Asana "subtask" changes?

It's easy to do with parent tasks but subtask due dates are tricky and tho they probably have webhooks for the same, I'm not so much a developer to figure it out.

Has anyone done it or can help? Would greatly appreciate!

Hey devs, I’d love your honest feedback. After chatting with 60+ DevOps leaders, it’s clear cloud costs are skyrocketing, talent is scarce, and tools don’t go deep enough—so I started building JetScale.

JetScale is an AI-powered cloud engineer that cuts overprovisioning, slashes costs, and helps teams adopt scalable, cost-efficient, cloud-native architectures. It also offers detailed cost forecasting.

I’m still building this and planning a launch soon. Here’s a sneak peek: https://www.jetscale.ai/. Your thoughts would mean a lot in shaping the next steps!

Hey folks!

I hope it's fine if I post here. If not, please delete.
We'll be running our first meetup of the "All in Kubernetes" road show in Berlin on the 29th of Jan. You're all very much welcome to drop by and say hi. Not sure we have someone from the area (or even Germany) though.

If not, but you have people you think might be interested, it'd be awesome if you could share it with them 💙
